Elm Street Congregation, N. Y.—We learn with pleasure that the Rev. Ansel Leo, who on his first arrival was elected for one year, has been re-elected at a late meeting of the congregation, by a triumphant and flattering vote. It is to be hoped that under him the congregation may prosper, and godliness and peace be their prevailing characteristics. Rodef Sholem Congregation, Philadelphia.—We announce with much satisfaction that the German congregation of this city, have elected the Rev. Mr. Cohen, lately arrived from Germany, as their minister.
