ELECTIONS.

 

At the annual meeting of the Female Hebrew Sewing Society of Philadelphia, held October 27, 5605, the following ladies were elected officers for the current year:

Miss Louisa B. Hart, First Directress; Miss Bluma Hart, Second Directress; Miss Simha C. Peixotto, Treasurer; Miss Josephine Bomeisler, Secretary; and Misses Rachel Pesoa, Charlotte Hendricks, Amelia J. Allen, Sarah Abrahams, and Sarah M. Solis, Managers.

At the annual meeting of the Female Hebrew Benevolent Society of Philadelphia, held on Wednesday, the 6th of November, 5605, the following ladies were elected officers for the ensuing year:

Mrs. Phila Pesoa, First Directress; Mrs. Richea Hays, Second Directress; Mrs. Anna Allen, Treasurer; Miss Rebecca Gratz, Secretary; and Mrs. Esther Hart, Mrs. Rebecca Moss, Mrs. Sarah Hart, Mrs. Sarah Phillips, Mrs. Hetty Samuel, Mrs. Rebecca C. Hart, Mrs. Myrtilla Florance, Miss Rachel Pesoa, and Miss Simha C. Peixotto, Managers.

At a general meeting of the Ladies’ Benevolent Society of the Congregation B’nai Jeshurun, of New York, held November 17th, 5605, the following ladies were elected officers for the current year:

Mrs. John M. Davis, First Directress; Mrs. Morland Mitcholl, Second Directress; Mrs. Moses Morrison, Treasurer, and Mrs. Lion Bernstein, Mrs. Abraham Godfrey, Mrs. Carl King, Mrs. Lawrence Myers, Mrs. Henry Seligman, Mrs. Isaac Son, and Mrs. Elias Spyers, Managers.
