Hebrew Education Society of Philadelphia

 
At the annual meeting of the Hebrew Education Society of Philadelphia, held on Sunday, May 12th, 1850, the following resolution was adopted.

Resolved, That the Editors of the Occident and Asmonean be requested to insert the Treasurer’s report in their periodicals.”

On the same day the following gentlemen were elected officers for the ensuing year. S. Solis, President; A. S. Wolf, Vice-President; A. Hart, Treasurer; Rev. I. Leeser, Secretary; D. Van Biel, Assistant Secretary; M. Nathans, H. Polack, Z. A. Davis, I. Binswanger, M. D. Cohen, M. Caufman, A. T. Jones, M. A. Dropsie, S. Elfelt, I. Hyneman, J. Newhouse, and D. Pesoa, Managers.
